Being a sports fan is easy when you are supporting winning teams...but it takes a lot to support a constantly losing team!
According to this article from Guy Code on MTV, Buffalo is #4 on the list of 5 Cities That Should Quit at Sports. The article states "these five cities need to do everybody a favor and call it quits".
Real or not real, this is officially the best part of going to a Grizzlies game -- watching people break up on the Kiss Cam. Unless, of course, you're the guy who got dumped, in which case this is probably the worst part of going to a Grizzlies game.
The Buffalo Sabres made it official on Tuesday by removing the interim tag and naming Ron Rolston the team’s permanent head coach. Rolston took over the team in February after the dismissal of Lindy Ruff and led the team to a 15-11-5 record in the 31 games he was behind the bench. Rolston becomes the Sabres’ 16th all-time head coach.

At times it was a pretty testy end-of-season press conference when Buffalo Sabres President Ted Black and General Manager Darcy Regier fielded questions from the media.
When you miss the playoffs two years in a row and four of the last six years, fans want answers. They want value for their ticket money, and they're just not getting it.
The season is over once again for the Buffalo Sabres. The fans have left the building, the final press conference for the season has been held...so now what do they do with the ice?
Go figure. How can this Buffalo Sabres team play so well against most of the better teams in the league and play so poorly against the lower ranked teams?
For the second time this month the Sabres went into Pittsburgh and beat the Penguins. Steve Ott scored the winning goal late in the third period to break a 2-2 tie and Thomas Vanek scored his second goal of the game into an empty net for a 4-2 victory.
Last Friday night it was a combination of bad luck and bad goaltending that contributed to a humiliating loss against the New York Rangers. Monday night against the Winnipeg Jets, the Buffalo Sabres got great goaltending from Jonas Enroth, but the Sabres couldn't finish the chances they produced and the Jets walked away with a 2-1 victory and a season sweep of the Sabres.
Los Angeles, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa Bay, Carolina. It makes me sick when I go down the list of teams that have won the Stanley Cup in non-traditional hockey towns. And then when I think about the teams that have won the Cup - name a city in the Northeast - Boston, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New York Rangers, New York Islanders, New Jersey Devils, Toronto, Montreal, Detroit.
