Make it two straight wins for Carl Edwards thanks to an incredible pass on the final lap.  Edwards tapped teammate Kyle Busch out of the way on the final turn and sprinted to the finish line for an improbable victory.  It's the first time in the history of the 3/4-mile Richmond Speedway that a driver won a race with a pass on the last lap.

Kyle Busch has a pretty impressive string of victories over the past two weeks - four straight national series races including back to back Sprint Cup wins.  Kyle won Saturday night's 500 mile Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway after having won the Xfinity race on Friday night giving him back to back weekend sweeps.  Kyle won the Cup race the previous week at Martinsville along with the Camping World Truck race.

Weekend Sweep For Kyle Busch At Martinsville

Kevin Harvick did on Sunday what he does so often at Phoenix International Raceway; he won.  Harvick led 139 laps including the last one as he and Carl Edwards bumped down the front stretch and Harvick emerged the winner by one one hundredth of a second at the finish line for the closest finish in the history of the series at the track.

Matt Kenseth Wins at Pocono When Leaders Run Out of Gas

It was a fuel-mileage race that a number of drivers gambled on and lost including Joey Logano, who led 97 of 160 laps but finished 12th when he ran out gas with three laps to go.  Kyle Busch inherited the lead, but instead of winning his fourth straight race he ran out of gas too and didn't even make it back to the finish line.  The gas tank of Martin Truex, Jr. went dry too.

Kyle Busch’s Incredible Comeback Continues — Wins Third Straight Race

Three straight wins and four victories in the last five Sprint Cup races. Kyle Busch continued his incredible run when he battled his way to the lead, then held off Joey Logano on a green-white-checkered finish on Sunday to complete a weekend sweep at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  Busch also won the Xfinity race the day before.

Kyle Busch Wins Third Race of the Season

Kyle Busch's incredible comeback continues.  After missing the first 11 races of the season with a broken leg and foot, Busch has won three of the last four races including Sunday's 5-Hour Energy 301 at New Hampshire.  After pitting earlier than the rest of the field for new tires, he took the lead on Lap 253 of 301 after the rest of the lead lap cars pitted one last time and held on to the finish.

Kyle Busch Wins at Kentucky Speedway – His 2nd Victory of Season

Even after missing nearly three months of the season with a broken leg and broken foot, Kyle Busch is looking more and more like he'll drive his way into a spot in the Chase for the Sprint Cup sweepstakes.  He led 163 of 267 laps on Saturday night at Kentucky Speedway to win the Quaker State 400.  Busch led 163 of 267 laps, including the final 18 after getting by Joey Logano, and held on for his second win of the season.

Kyle Busch Moves Closer to a Chase

Even after missing 11 races while recovering from a broken leg and broken foot following a crash at Daytona in February, Kyle Busch can punch a ticket to the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship as long as he averages a 13th place finish over the next 10 races.  That should be enough to place him in the Top 30 of the Sprint Cup points standings to go along with his first victory of the season.  Currently he stands 37th, up two spots from the last race.
