Kyle Busch punched his ticket to the next round of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series playoffs with Saturday night's victory at Richmond Raceway.  Busch and Brad Keselowski battled each other for 21 laps before Busch finally got the edge with 36 laps to go and then held off Kevin Harvick for the win and a sweep of the two races this season at Richmond.

It's Busch's seventh victory of the season, tying him with Harvick.  It's also his 50th career victory to put him into a tie with NASCAR Hall of Famers Junior Johnson and Ned Jarrett for 11th all-time.

Martin Truex, Jr. led a race-high 163 laps and won the first two stages.  He finished third.  Chase Elliott ran fourth with Aric Almirola coming in fifth.

Clint Bowyer, Jimmie Johnson, Erik Jones and Denny Hamlin stand 13th thru 16th in the playoff standings after two races entering the elimination race at Charlotte Motor Speedway's road course next Sunday.
