March 12, 2012 Defending Sprint Cup champion Tony Stewart had the best car and he proved it on a restart with 30 laps left when he took the lead by dipping past the front row leaders from the second row and held off Jimmy Johnson on 3 more restarts to win yesterday’s race at Las Vegas
March 9, 2012 Trips to Las Vegas Motor Speedway each year are a homecoming for Kurt and Kyle Busch. But it keeps them pretty busy with sponsor appearances, team appearances and a sponsor golf tournament, plus personal time with family and friends all before they even get to the track.
Kurt Busch arrives in Vegas with a new team following his exit from Penske Racing after last season. Busch is now driving for Phoenix Racing in the Number 51 Chevrolet. His best finish at Las Vegas was third back in 2005. He currently stands 26th in the point standings.
