With the finish line in sight and Truex in the lead with Johnson right behind him, Johnson slid in one of the final turns, spinning Truex in the process. That allowed an opening for Ryan Blaney to pass both of them and win

Keselowski won Saturday's Xfinity race and Sunday's Cup race; the first time he's ever won at the track at any level.

The victory is the second at Michigan for Harvick and the 44th of his career to place him in a tie with Hall of Famer Bill Elliott for 17th place all-time.

Just as it was the day before during the Xfinity race, rain was a major factor during Sunday's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup race at Michigan International Raceway

Three drivers have won 11 of this season's 14 NASCAR Monster Energy Cup races and on Sunday at Pocono Raceway Martin Truex, Jr. joined Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch as multi-race winners.

The incredible season of Martin Truex, Jr. continued on Sunday at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Truex led 91 of 337 laps to win a race that needed overtime to decide. It's his sixth win this season and his second in the playoffs.

For the second week in a row Martin Truex, Jr. came up short in a race he should have won.  Saturday night at Richmond Speedway Truex was just three laps away from winning when Derrick Cope scraped the wall to bring out the caution flag and setting up an overtime restart.
