Eddie Montgomery’s Harrodsburg, Ky. steakhouse closed in May, and will be sold in January. The building and surrounding lots will be up for auction on January 10 with the money going to pay defaulted loans.

A restaurant co-owned by Montgomery Gentry singer Eddie Montgomery has abruptly closed without warning, leaving employees scrambling to find an explanation for their sudden termination.

Montgomery Gentry are one of the most successful duos in country music history. Consisting of Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry, they landed a deal with Columbia Records and shot to fame with the 1999 release of their debut album 'Tattoos & Scars,' which went Platinum on the strength of hit singles like 'Hillbilly Shoes' and 'Lonely and Gone.'

Country singer Janelle Arthur performed Montgomery Gentry's hit song 'Gone' on 'American Idol' Wednesday night (March 13), making a daring song choice that the judges didn't seem to think was entirely right for her.

Troy Gentry of Montgomery Gentry was still catching up on the details of the Blake Shelton vs. Ray Price Facebook battle when Taste of Country Nights host Jeremy Robinson caught up with him last week. The dark-haired singer told listeners that the duo won't be tossing sharp words toward fans of classic country or the artists that built the format anytime soon.

It has been 3 years since Montgomery Gentry has given us a new album but that changes this Tuesday with the release of the their brand new CD “Rebels on the Run”.  The guys found a new record label which has given them more creative freedom and you’ll hear that on the new CD.
