We had a great time at the WYRK EnergyMark Spring 2014 Acoustic Show last night (March 13) at UB's Center For The Arts. Craig Morgan, Cassadee Pope and Parmalee put on a fantastic show!

Inspired by Jimmy Fallon and The Roots' "Classroom Instrument" series, WYRK decided to make a version of their own using instruments found around the studio -- and start it off last night at the Acoustic Show.

Following up a No. 1 single is a challenge for any new artist, but Parmalee feel pretty confident about their chances with 'Close Your Eyes.' The track from the group's new 'Feels Like Carolina' album was a no-brainer. In this video premiering exclusively on Taste of Country, singer Matt Thomas says he fell for it the moment he heard it.

Parmalee know firsthand that being seen as commercially viable is as important as talent in the music business. What good is talent, after all, if no one knows what to do with it?

Parmalee do what they do best on more than half the songs on 'Feel Like Carolina.' This group of reformed rockers compel you to buy a ticket to their live show with songs like 'I'll Bring the Music,' Dance' and especially 'Move.'

Parmalee's debut country album 'Feels Like Carolina' will hit stores on Dec. 10, and the North Carolina-raised foursome are enjoying the success of their Top 10 hit 'Carolina.'
