Grammy-nominated country group Little Big Town will release their fifth studio album on September 11. Recorded in Nashville with producer Jay Joyce (whose credits include Eric Church), ‘Tornado’ features the band’s current hit single, ‘Pontoon.’

This is what I call dedication!  Just as Caleb and Candra Pence were finishing up their ceremony at a farmhouse in Harper, Kansas, two tornadoes touched down about five miles away.  They still continued on with the wedding!

Check out this video of a tornado forming within roughly 90 seconds..  It was taken on a security camera in downtown West Union, Ohio.  The tornado was said to be an F2.

A massive storm system causing tornadoes has left a path of death and destruction from Texas to Indiana and stretching as far south at the Florida panhandle.  At least 36 people have been killed in the latest round of storms.  Of the 36 killed so far, 17 have been in Kentucky with another 14 in Indiana.

Picture this.  A tornado slams into your house and takes your pet dog with it.  When the dust settles you search for your dog but can't seem to find him anywhere.  Just about the time you decide to give up, you come back home only to find him sitting on your front doorstep waiting for you.

Saw this on Good Morning America!  The driver made it out with just minor injuries!

We don't get many tornados here in Buffalo.  If you've never experienced a tornado first hand,  it can be hard to imagine a wind that could cause such devastation.  But a homeowner got to see first hand in Oklahoma City just how powerful a twister can be.

The tornado that slammed Joplin, MO on May 22, like the others around the country recently, has resulted in stunning first-person video accounts. With the popularity of video capability on smartphones (not to mention digital cameras) we are now not only seeing the damage closer than ever, but we are also seeing what it's like to wait for the storm, then experience it.

When Brad Paisley wrote the song, "Old Alabama" he meant for it to be a tribute to the band "Alabama."  He never expected that it would be as timely as it was.  But now he's using the song to raise money for the victims of the recent tornadoes in Alabama.

Growing up, my father was a big time NBC Nightly News fan. Tom Brokaw was a staple in our family. As a matter of fact, we didn't even think about eating our family dinners until after the news was over. Yes, I said family dinners. That was back in those days when families actually sat down to eat together.
