Watch How This Dad From Derby Makes Light Of First Day By Dressing Up

The first day of school can be stressful.  What's my teacher going to be like?  How hard is this grade going to be?  This dad has a great way to take his kids' minds off of all that stress.He dresses up.

Meet Shawn.  Shawn has been making the first day of school fun for years now.  You can see from these pictures how incredibly excited his kids are about it.

He thinks up a new costume each year.  This year there was a bit of a Christmas theme to it.

While everyone will have their opinions about this, I love it.  I think it points out that even when things seem serious and scary, you can't take everything so seriously.  Sometimes you have to just laugh and smile.  Even if you are staring at your dad while he's wearing this outside your bus window.
