My son Tyler is quite an avid outdoorsman. Hunting and Fishing are two of his main hobbies. One of Tyler's favorite activities is waterfowl hunting. He has taken more ducks and geese than I have. A few of the spieces of duck he has harvested were so beautiful that he wanted to get them mounted. The only problem with wanting to do that is the cost. Quality taxidermy services command a high dollar these days.

Thankfully, I have a friend David in Akron who is an expert taxidermist and has begun to teach my son about this specialized craft. Yesterday, Tyler began his first mount of a Wood duck he had harvested last year. It's a good thing I have a huge stand-up freezer in my basement to store these trophy's. There is a lot more work to do on this duck, but I wanted to share the progress so far.
