Our Vehicles for Vets finalist this week is Albert Galluzzi. A U-S Army Vietnam veteran and his wife Karen was the one who submitted the entry. She says she’s the one who knows him best, so why not.

She says Albert was a demolition specialist in Vietnam, walking eight miles a day deactivating land mines. And he found one of the largest bombs of the war during his tour.  But what he saw and experienced had a life-long effect on him, it affected his personality until he went to the Veterans Center at the VA Hospital for professional help.  His treatment has changed their lives.  Now he smiles and laughs more than ever and some of his fears are easier to deal with.

To all the vets out there, a little advice…there are plenty of services available at the Vet Center.  All you have to do is take advantage of them.
