City Grill Shootings – Western New York’s Top Five Crime Cases

In August of 2010, a wedding anniversary celebration was disrupted by gunfire that left four people dead and four others wounded at the City Grill restaurant on Main Street in downtown Buffalo. The shootings came after some kind of dispute that forced the manager of the restaurant to ask the entire party to leave. Once outside, the dispute continued. Riccardo McCray later surrendered to police and after trial he was convicted of three counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder. He was sentenced to life in prison.
