10 Minutes, 68 Hot Dogs for Joey Chestnut [VIDEO]

He did it again! Competitive eater Joey Chestnut won his sixth straight title at the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest on Wednesday! The idea of such a contest might make most people gag, but for Chestnut, it's worth $10,000!Chestnut is leagues above the competition. The closest guy to him ONLY ate 52 hot dogs (plus buns. Ouch!)

I did a burger contest in Gowanda once, and I was full for days after! We had an hour to eat as many as we could. I think I ate nine or so -- a far cry from the Chestnut standards.

There was a female division in the hot dog contest as well.

Sonya Thomas, of Alexandria, Va., downed 45 hot dogs to win the women's competition. She reached her goal of eating 45 in the time limit – her age – and took home her own pink champion's belt and $10,000.
