With this past weekend, the unofficial start to Summer is here in Western New York. While we wait for the warm weather and the lake temp to heat up, get yourself in the right frame of mind with these twelve songs.

WHAT MAKES A GOOD SUMMER SONG?

There are a couple of things you want from a Summer song. It has to make you smile since Summer is the best season ever. You also want to be able to blast the song from your ride with the windows or better yet top-down, and you want to be able to sing along with the song with your friends.

WHY ONLY 12 SONGS?

Yes, I know there are lots of great songs that are perfect for Summer. Why did I only pick 12? While back in the day, most artists released an album it would have 12 or 13 songs on it. 13 is an unlucky number so I went with 12.
