4H Pig Sells for $36,000 [VIDEO]

Incredible! This young man had quite a night at a recent auction when his 4H project raised $36,000! It was all for a great cause.

Dustin has Cystic Fibrosis and not only did he make some great money for his hard work, he and the auctioneers and staff have brought awareness to a disease that affects so many.

This auction took place in June in Michigan and the highest bid was $135 per pound!!!

According to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation:

Cystic fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time.

There are so many hard working 4H kids in the Western New York area as well.

This week, you can support your local 4H in Genesee County. The 47^th Annual Genesee County 4-H Market Animal Auction will be held Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Genesee County Fair. The auction begins at 7:00pm.

The Allegany County 4H auction will be held July 22 at 5pm.

The Niagara County Fair 4H auction will be held on August 4th at 6pm.

The Cattaraugus County Fair is holding their 4H auction on Saturday August 5th at 1pm.

The Erie County 4H auction will be held during the Erie County Fair.

The Wyoming County Fair 4H auction will be held Wednesday August 16 at 5pm.
