Motorcycle Fun At El Mirage, California

El Mirage Lake is a dry lake bed in the Mojave Desert in Southern California. The lake is located about 9 miles west-northwest of the town of Adelanto and 10 miles north of Highway 18 in San Bernardino County. It is extremely popular with motorcyclists, motorheads, drag racers and car nuts. Every weekend in the summertime, groups of motorcyclists and race car enthusiasts head to El Mirage lake to race their machines in this open barren area. This video was made by a young California film maker who was trying to capture the essence of the fun that people enjoy when they bring their motorcycles to El Mirage Lake. After watching this video clip, I find myself wanting to join them.
