Christmas Movie Featuring East Aurora, New York Debuts Saturday
One of the most charming villages in all of New York State will be the backdrop for a new holiday movie that debuts this weekend and all of Western New York is excited! I spoke with Don Vidler, from Vidler's 5 and 10, this week and he tells me that his family's store will also be seen in much of the movie.
East Aurora has become the gem of Western New York over the last couple of years. Most homes that have gone up for sale have sold in just hours and most of them well over the asking price. Those of us who grew up in and went to school in East Aurora know that the village has so many great things to offer and the secret is out. Look for some of them this weekend while watching the newest film to put East Aurora on display.
A Royal Christmas on Ice, will premiere this Saturday, Nov. 5, 8 PM Eastern on the GAF (Great American Family) Network!
Looking to escape his Royal life, a dashing prince comes to the United States to start a business in a small town in upstate New York and winds up falling for a former Olympic ice skater.
East Aurora is also home to what many call the best chicken wing place in all of Buffalo. The Bar Bill's original home is also in the heart of East Aurora which is also the most walk-able villages in the area. Families can walk from one end to the other and do some shopping, eat at a great restaurant or walk down memory lane and visit places like The Roycroft or Vidler's.
