A Shocking Declaration From New York State’s Governor [WATCH]

There was a pretty shocking revelation made this week by the Governor of New York State.

As August rolls on, and the kids get ready for back to school, there are so many great things for families to do. One thing is for certain, we all try to squeeze as many events as we can in to just a few weeks. The summers are short, but the fall is pretty incredible here in New York State.

But regardless of what the calendar says, the summer pretty much ends with the start of the county fair season. No matter what Mother Nature has in store for us, once the county fairs end and the New York State Fair begins, fall is here. But it is one of those county fairs that has taken center stage after a recent comment from Governor Hochul.

While on a recent trip to Western New York, Governor Hocul paid a visit to the Erie County Fair in Hamburg. It is not far from where Governor Hochul once lived and, according to a post on "X" (formerly Twitter) it could be her favorite place!

"My favorite place in the world? The @ErieCountyFair in Hamburg, where I grew up. It closes on August 18, so get out and enjoy it before it's gone, New York!

There are just a few days left to enjoy the fair before the New York State Fair begins on August 21st in Syracuse.
