Aaron Rodgers Could Be Coming to the AFC East

The off-season is here for the Buffalo Bills and it was about as frustrating an end to the season as we ever could have imagined.

The Bills lost to the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Divisional round on Sunday. The Bengals beat the Bills in every facet of the game and it was probably the worst game the Sean McDermott-led Bills have played since at least 2019. The Bills have been dealing with a lot of injuries this season but there are some changes that will be coming in the next few weeks and months.

The Bills did win the AFC East for a third straight season but for the first time in those three years, the Bills faced legitimate threats in the division. They had problems with both the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets.

The Jets would have likely made the playoffs had they had a good quarterback. They have a great defense, which gave the Bills troubles this season. However, they drafted a bust in Zach Wilson in 2021 and Mike White, while an improvement, is not the long-term answer.

There have been rumors and speculation the Jets swing big for the quarterback position, which is the huge missing piece on their team.

Could that be Aaron Rodgers?

According to Peter King of NBC's Monday Morning Quarterback, the Packers would listen to trading Rodgers, who doesn't know where his future lies, but they would want two first round picks.

Jets owner Woody Johnson would "happily pay that price," according to King.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports the Packers are exploring trading Rodgers exclusively to the AFC. They will not trade him within the NFC...

Rodgers is 39 years old and is owed $59.5 million in 2023. The cap hit is $31.6 million. Rodgers is owed that money for any team that trades for him.

I do think Rodgers comes back and plays another season or two in the NFL but would he want to go to the Jets?
