The Bills Have New Uniforms For 2026 – Here’s When They’ll Wear Them

Last week, the Buffalo Bills unveiled some new uniforms for 2026. Today, they gave us a schedule of when they're going to wear them.

So Far, The "Nickel City" uniforms haven't gone over well

The Buffalo Bills were hoping that fans would love their new uniforms for 2026. Last year, they gave us the Nike Rivalries uniforms and fans went crazy for them (that may have changed after they saw how they played in them, but at first, they loved them).

That wasn't the case for these ones. The uniforms that they're calling the "Nickel City" uniforms haven't gone over too well with the fans yet. They wanted to lean into the "Nickel City" nickname that our city has with a nickel gray scheme. It has a brand new blue helmet too that only features the motion stripe that runs down the side of the charging bison in the regular logo.

The fans have been vocal about not liking the gray, and they have hated how the stripe comes together at the back of the helmet.

The Bills are still going to wear them

Regardless of how some very vocal fans feel, the Bills are still going ahead with their alternate jersey. The Bills will actually have a bunch of different looks this year. Not only will they add the "Nickel City" uniform, but they're going to bring back the "Cold Front" Nike Rivalries combo again this year. Of course, they'll also still have the original blue combo for a few games.

The red helmets are coming back too

While most fans seem to hate the new unis, they're still crazy for the red alternate helmet combo. If this is you, there's good news. The red helmet is coming back on Christmas day. Pete Guelli confirmed it on the "It's Always Gameday In Buffalo" podcast. It appears as if the red alternate combo will be the red "color rush" to end the season again against the Jets in week 18.
