Amazing Photos From The Start Of The Bills Season
It was another long weekend for the Bills Mafia as the Buffalo Bills were off this week for their bye week.
Coming into the season, the Buffalo Bills were picked by many national analysts to be the team to beat in the AFC and have a chance of winning their first Super Bowl in franchise history.
The Bills headed into their bye with a 4-2 record with could have easily been 5-1 if QB Josh Allen didn't slip on a 4th and one on the Tennesse 3 yard line. But even with a 4-2 record the Bills find themselves atop of the AFC East, which they won last season, and still in a playoff spot in the AFC.
The Bills have the 2nd best-ranked offense when it comes to points scored and the overall best defense when it comes to points given up per game.
One the season so far Josh Allen is playing like a possible MVP candidate. Through 6 games, Allen has thrown for 1,723 yards, 15 touchdowns, and only 3 interceptions. Overall he has a QB rating of 103.6 which is the 2nd highest rating in his career.
Rookie Greg Rousseau has been the sack beast the Bills were hoping for when they drafted him in the 1st round of the NFL this past April. He currently leads the team with 3 sacks on the season. He also has one interception this season.
Kicker Tyler Bass who set a Bills' franchise record for points scored last season in his rookie year looks on pace to break that record this season. At the bye week, Bass is 14 for 15 on field-goal attempts and a perfect 21 for 21 on extra points.
So will this be the season the Bills win the AFC and head to the Super Bowl? The path to the playoffs will be on the easy side for the Bills as they have one of the easiest schedules based on current win/loss records of the teams they will face.
