In a recent post on "X", formerly Twitter, Erie County noted that there is a survey that you can take to help with decisions for the future if as many as 12 different forests.

Along with the survey is a brief description about the plans and what Erie County is responsible for.

"The Plan will be completed in 2025 and will build upon previous management plans, existing data, field studies, and regional plans and priorities. This update will examine the existing ecological conditions of the Erie County Forest Lots and provide recommendations for best management practicies moving forward".

We are blessed to have so many great forests right here in our backyard and when you did in to the science behind keeping them healthy, it can be pretty interesting. But the future of these forests can be in your hands. What is important to you?
