As of right now there are only 3 people will play BOTH Highmark Stadiums, the old one and the new one.

Of course, there could be more added to this list as more concerts are announced. Next week, there will be another concert added to the list for Highmark Stadium as well.

But so, far out of who we know here are the only people to play both at both stadiums.

  • Kenny Chesney
  • Greylan James
  • Metallica

Of course, Kenny Chesney everyone knows because of the famous incident with Tim McGraw when they got arrested by the Erie County Sheriffs and had to appear in court in Orchard Park. That was during the George Strait Festival over 25 years ago and they were both opening acts at the time for that festival.

Greylan James, who is the least recognizable name, is a songwriter turned artist recently and has country music cuts by Chris Stapleton, Chesney, Jordan Davis and more. Now James has his own song out called "Water At A Wedding" and his climbing up the country music charts. He opened up the Luke Combs concert in 2024 in April (remember people were wearing snow pants at that concert because it was so cold out) at the outdoor stage. Now, he will open up inside the stadium this time for Kenny Chensey on June 19.

Metallica will be the first band to ever play both the old and new Highmark Stadiums. The last time they played the old Bills stadium was in 2022 and now they will return for June 2027 when they bring Limp Bizkit and more.
