Are You Ready To Say Goodbye To The CD?

According to the music website Side-Line.com, major record labels have plans to get rid of the CD format by... the end of 2012.  The focus is now going to be put on digital downloads....as expected.  I have to note that none of this is confirmed, but the rumors are swirling.  The website also went on to say that the only CD's that you will see in 2013 will be special editions and albums from the biggest artists!

Many people in the industry seem to think that an immediate CD "cut-off" seems unlikely, but one thing is for sure......CD's will eventually become extinct!
