New Bar-Bill Location Opening In New York State

There is nothing as iconic in Buffalo's food scene like chicken wings.

Wings are what make Buffalo famous, outside of the Bills and snow. They're the number one food in Western New York and there are many awesome places to grab wings in Buffalo.

Nine-Eleven Tavern, Elmos, Wingnutz, Duffs, Mammoser's, etc. are some great wings, along with Bar-Bill Tavern.

Bar-Bill Tavern in East Aurora has become probably the top destination for out-of-towners, but they recently opened a Clarence location in the north towns.

Those two Buffalo locations get extremely busy and there's a third location that is about to open...it's not in Buffalo, however.

A third location for Bar-Bill is about to open in the Rochester area. It will be located at the old MacGregor's location in Penfield, NY, which is on the eastern suburban side of Rochester (south end of Irondequoit Bay), according to 13WHAM in Rochester.

It's expected to open sometime in June.

The building is has plenty of room and has an old-school look and feel about it, which is perfect for the aesthetic of Bar-Bill customers in Buffalo.

The area is gorgeous too. It's near the bay and down the road from K2 Brewing, which is a famous Rochester area brewery.

Perhaps is the first sign that Bar-Bill will expand past Western New York and maybe past New York in general; much like Anchor Bar and Duffs has done in recent years, showcasing great wings to the rest of the country.
