On Thursday morning, the Buffalo Bills announced that they have named the stadium, "Bills Stadium," but that sparked interest from one huge sports media outlet.

If you're a big sports fan, then you know all about Barstool Sports. They're one of the most successful sports-centric entertainment media outlets and are known for their outgoing style.

Now, the company says they would like to buy the naming rights to the Bills' stadium in Orchard Park.

According to Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, the company is "very serious about buying the naming rights to the Bills stadium and will enter the process."

Back in July, the Bills ended their partnership with New Era for the naming rights of the stadium.

However, also back in July, when a bidet company named Tushy wanted the naming rights to the Bills' stadium, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz stated that it wouldn't happen and that all names are subject to county and state approval, which is part of the lease they negotiated with the Bills.

All names that "embarrass the community are dead on arrival" according to Poloncarz.

It's debatable whether or not this would fall under that category, but if Barstool Sports wants the naming rights to the stadium, Erie County and New York State must approve it as well.
