Bills Players Who Won’t Play Today Against the Bengals
The Buffalo Bills are playing their most important game of the season today, as they host the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Divisional round at Highmark Stadium. Kickoff is 3 pm today on CBS.
This is the first official meeting between the two teams since September of 2019. Their January 2nd game in Cincinnati on Monday Night Football was cancelled after Damar Hamlin's cardiac event.
The Bills will be without edge rusher Von Miller, safety Micah Hyde and wide receiver Jamison Crowder. Miller is out until next season, while there's hope Hyde and Crowder will return for a potential AFC Championship game in Atlanta, should the Bills find a way to advance.
As for the others players who won't play today, the Bills just released their inactives for today's game.
Defensive tackle DaQuan Jones will not play today, which is a blow to the defensive line. Defensive tackle Jordan Phillips will play today, however, after missing the Wild Card round game against the Miami Dolphins.
The Bengals won't have three starters on the offensive line: tackles La'el Collins and Jonah Williams and their best guard, Alex Cappa.
The Bills defensive front has to win the battle with the Bengals offensive line. If they don't, they will lose. That's the matchup everyone is looking forward to, minus the Josh Allen and Joe Burrow trading offensive series.
