Chiefs Should've Been Called For Penalty On Last TD Against Bills

It's been a brutal week for Buffalo Bills fans and the entire region of Western New York, honestly.

The Buffalo Bills lost 42-36 in overtime to the Kansas Chiefs last Sunday in the AFC Divisional Round, in what was probably the most entertaining NFL playoff game in history.

Four lead changes and 25 points scored in the final 1:54 of regulation, with an amazing 17 points in the final 62 seconds.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen led two incredible touchdown drives in the 4th quarter; both ended with touchdown passes to Gabriel Davis, including converting a 4th and 4 and a 4th and 13, which was the third touchdown pass of the day to Davis. Allen also completed an asinine 2-point conversion, on a pass to Stefon Diggs.

The last Bills touchdown of the season came with 13 seconds left in regulation, as Allen completed a 19-yard pass to Davis to make the score 36-33.

Unfortunately, the Chiefs went nearly 50 yards in 13 second and kicked a game-tying field goal with no time remaining in regulation, and ended up winning the coin toss, and scoring a touchdown on their first drive, which ended the game per NFL overtime rules.

However, something hardly anyone noticed happened on the Chiefs winning touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes to Travis Kelce.

Dan Fetes of 13 WHAM in Rochester pointed out that Kansas City should have been flagged for illegal motion on the play, as both Mecole Hardman and Byron Pringle shifted at the same time, which isn't allowed. Kelce also motioned and the Chiefs did not wait one full second before the ball was snapped.

Would this have changed the outcome? Probably not, since this was a first and goal situation, but it also makes you think about the non-call on Tyreek Hill's taunting penalty on the Chiefs last touchdown in regulation to go up 33-29.

The Bills lost because of their coaching decisions on defense with 13 seconds left, but this just adds more salt to the wound for Bills Mafia.
