Buffalo Bills Changing Up the Uniforms for Sunday Night Football
The Buffalo Bills were back at practice on Wednesday but it was just the walkthrough variety. They're still working their way back to things in Western New York, after having some harsh travel Thursday through Monday.
The good news from practice was that cornerback Christian Benford was back as a full participant. He missed the game in London with a shoulder injury.
Meanwhile, Dawson Knox and Greg Rousseau were limited a s their status for Sunday Night Football in Orchard Park is unknown. Rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid remains in concussion protocol.
Matt Milano and DaQuan Jones were placed on injured reserve today, which means they are out at least four weeks, but odds are both will miss most if not the entire season.
The Bills signed linebacker A.J. Klein to the active roster, while they brought back cornerback Josh Norman to the practice squad. He played in Buffalo in 2020, while also playing under Sean McDermott in Carolina from 2012 to 2015.
The Bills game this Sunday night against the New York Giants will be played under the lights. The Bills picked it to unleash the red uniforms.
The Bills announced on Wednesday that they will be wearing their red, color rush jerseys for this game.
The red color rush uniforms are only worn once or twice per season. This feels like a good time to break them out, although some Bills fans aren't a fan of the look and there's talk they don't play quite as well while wearing them.
Kickoff this Sunday is 8:20 pm from Highmark Stadium.
