Bills Giving Season Ticket Holders Opt-Out Option In 2020: Can Return For 2021
The Bills are taking steps needed to accommodate fans during the 2020 season, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to WIVB, the Bills will not be charging or taking additional season ticket payments until social distancing guidelines for New Era Field are established.
Team officials say that if seat capacity is reduced (which seems likely), seat locations and availability for season ticket members can be adjusted accordingly.
The Bills also announced that all season ticket holders can opt-out of their 2020 season tickets, with the option to return for the 2021 season. They can keep their seats and seniority as well.
“As we navigate this unprecedented offseason, we recognize that there may be questions about the upcoming season and we are working diligently on guidelines that will provide a safe environment at New Era Field. We appreciate your patience and understanding and we will remain in contact with you in the days and weeks ahead,” VP of Ticket Sales & Service said.
Season ticket holders should get an official email from the Bills in the coming days.
