The first announced game of the Buffalo Bills schedule for the 2023 regular season came on Wednesday morning.

The Bills will play one of their home games against the Jacksonville Jaguars on October 8th, from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. The game will be a 9:30 am kickoff here in Western New York; 2:30 pm in London.

This is one of three London games announced by the NFL on Wednesday, with two more games announced for Germany.

This will be the first time in eight years the Bills have played in London, which was also against the Jacksonville Jaguars. This game is notable because the Jaguars will play two straight games in London.

That's right. After the Jags play the Atlanta Falcons from Wembley Stadium in week 4. They then play an away game at the Bills in London at Tottenham.

This is not good news for the Bills because the biggest worry with a London game is the travel. The Jaguars would have been in London for 10+ days by the time this game is played, with the Bills being the only team traveling for the contest...even though this is technically a home game for Buffalo.

It remains to be seen if the Bills will get a bye week right after. Week 6 would be an early bye week. You would rather have that be in week 8 or week 9, but the Bills would have had a voice in whether or not they want that bye week in week 6 or later.

Not team has ever played back-to-back games in London before this year. Naturally, the second game had to be against a traveling Bills opponent...
