Special Bills Mafia Billboard Erected Ahead Of New England Game
The Buffalo Bills head to New England with a shot to take over the AFC East from the Patriots and on the way to the stadium they will see some familiar faces.
For the 2nd year in a row, the Bills Mafia was named the best fan base in the NFL by winning the FOX Sports NFL Ultimate Fan Bracket. The winning fan base then had a chance to choose what city the billboard would be erected in and Bills' fans chose Boston.
The billboard touting that Bills' fans are the best went up this past Sunday is right on route 1 just outside Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
The Bills are hoping to bounce back from a tough ugly loss to New England three weeks ago at home in hurricane-like weather at Highmark Stadium.
The winner of Sunday's game will take over the lead of the AFC East with just two more games left in the season. The loser of the game would remain in the playoff hunt but most likely would not host a playoff game and would have to play on the road to open up the playoffs.
The Bills came into this season as Super Bowl Favorites while New England was expected to struggle with a rookie QB, but as the season has played out, New England put up a pretty good winning streak and is currently 9-5 on the season while the Bills are 8-6. Because of their records against divisional opponents, if the Bills and Patriots end the season with the same record, the Bills would win the AFC East.
