Can Bills Mafia Shatter This Tailgating World Record?

It's hard to believe that there isn't a world record for the longest tailgating session. It seems like that is something that Bills Mafia should own. Now, Buffalo Bills legend Andre Reed is hoping to change that. He's teamed up with Twisted Tea to bring this title home to Buffalo.

What is the current world record for tailgating?

It pains me to write this, but the title for the "World's Largest Tailgate Party" actually belongs to the Kansas City Chiefs. The problem with this title, though, is that the definition varies. Some people (The Chiefs) consider their tailgate to be the largest ever because they had millions of "online" participants. But shouldn't there be people at your tailgate?

Another drink company put together what they called the world's longest tailgate leading up to the big game in New Orleans that involved a 60-foot-long tractor-trailer.

There are tons of colleges that have held long-standing tailgating traditions, but no one has ever recorded how long they've tailgated leading up to a game...until now.

Twisted Tea wants to record the fan who tailgates for the longest duration of time and they want it to happen at Highmark Stadium.

Twisted Tea is looking for Bills Mafia to set a world record

If there isn't a record already, why shouldn't we set the standard here in Western New York? Twisted Tea is putting together a competition to find a member of Bills Mafia who is willing to tailgate for 7 days straight in one parking spot. Do you think you could handle it?

There's no leaving. You'll be in that spot getting ready for the game for 168 hours straight. But you won't have to. Twisted Tea is planning on having everything you need right there. They'll provide an RV, tent, food, entertainment center, gear, game tickets, and $5,000 cash for the chance to attempt to set an all-time tailgate record that’ll go down in history.  

To make it even better, the tickets will be for the Buffalo vs. Kansas City game on November 2nd.
