Bitter Cold Wind Chills On Tap For Western New York
It looks like the last weekend of January will be a cold one as more arctic weather is expected to sweep across Western New York this weekend.

Grab your head, gloves, and hand warmers if you plan on being outside over the next couple of days here in Western New York. We are going to see some cold temperatures and wind chills that could drop below freezing.
Another blast of cold Canadian air is coming through and we will see high temperatures this week that top out in the low 20s. With that cold air, come very cold wind chill temperatures too. The "Feel Like" for this week will be in the single digits and even below zero in parts of Western New York.
Today the high for Buffalo will only be 15 degrees according to Accuweather and the wind chill will make it feel like 10. Tonight the temperature drops to around 8 degrees with a wind chill dropping to -9 in some places.
On Thursday, while the high temperature will soar to 28 degrees, it will be windy causing the wind chill to make it feel like 10 degrees during the day. At night the temps will drop to around 17 degrees with the wind chill around 3 degrees.
Heading into the weather Friday will be cold with a high of only 17 degrees and a low of 4 with wind chills below zero and Saturday will be even colder with a high of only 12 and wind chills of -11.
The good news is that we will see a bit of a warm-up in Western New York next week.
