Body cameras for police officers have been a growing talking point in the last year. The cameras are for both the officers and the the civilians protection and verification of what happens when they interact.

The Rochester area schools may soon have body cameras available for their resource officers.

In many cases, when an incident takes place at a school that involves an officer, it is the student's word against the officer/administration. In some cases their have been claims that the officers have gone too far with the use of force. Body cameras would allow everyone to see what really took place.

According to Metro News:

"there are a lot of considerations and they plan on studying this for at least six months before asking for input."

Below is just one example of the use/style of body cameras that law enforcement has available to them.
