The Broadway Market is a tradition in Buffalo, especially around Easter. The weeks leading up to the holidays are filled with busy vendors and enthusiastic shoppers preparing for the big day. What makes the Broadway Market so special? Is it just the time of year, the amazing things you can get there, the tradition, the people? I think it's a combination of everything! I love these types of market, it completely changes the shopping experience. It makes it more personal and you actually learn things while you shop too! That's what Dale and I set off to do when we were at the Broadway Market, we wanted to get a little more back story on the places that people are told they "must go to". I followed Dale with a camera and we got shipping! So what are the Broadway Market Musts?

We had several people tell us about this stuffed pepper sausage including one of Buffalo's finest who stopped by to say hello. This is a temporary stand durning the holidays and they go through product quickly. One other vendor told us they go through two truckloads a day!

One of my favorite things with markets like The Broadway Market is getting the product right from the vendor like this! We were able to taste it and get it fresh! There is something open getting meat from a butcher or vendor like this that feels so nostalgic, it's like you're really thinking about what you want and what you're going to do with it...maybe even get a little creative! So for sure, you MUST stop at Hanzlian's when you're at the market!
