Tuesday night, LeBron James broke a massive record, passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the highest all-time regular season scorer in NBA history with 38,390 career points (and counting).

Whether you’re a LeBron fan or not, you have to admit that this is an amazing feat.

It made us wonder - who are the highest-scoring players on our own Buffalo pro teams?

Buffalo is a passionate sports town that sticks with its teams through good years and bad. Bills, Sabres, Bandits, Bisons, and Beuts fans have seen several outstanding players come and go throughout the years (or, in the case of the Buffalo Braves, they can at least reminisce about the good ol’ days). But who is the “LeBron” of Buffalo sports?

Obviously, longevity is a factor when it comes to breaking a high-scoring record. Like LeBron, many of the athletes on the Buffalo all-time high scorers list had longer-than-average careers. They also spent either a huge chunk or the entirety of their careers playing for a Buffalo franchise.
