Report: Buffalo Bills Made a Trade Call Regarding a Star Player
The Buffalo Bills now have the bye week behind them, as they prepare to play a stretch of games that they will be heavily favored in.
Starting tonight against the Green Bay Packers.
The Bills have arguably the best roster in the NFL and while they don't necessarily have a weakness, general manager Brandon Beane is the type to always look to make his team even better.
There's been much speculation on whether or not the Bills will look to add a player before Tuesday's trade deadline, which is at 4 pm on November 1st.
The Bills were reportedly in on running back Christian McCaffrey, who was traded from the Carolina Panthers to the San Francisco 49ers. The Bills were also rumored to be interested in Los Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers.
According to a report on Sunday, the Bills made a very interesting call regarding one of the league's best running backs.
Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reported the Bills called the New Orleans Saints in regards to Alvin Kamara.
The Saints said "no" to a potential trade.
Glazer reported on the NFL on FOX pregame show earlier today.
Kamara has been one of the league's best backs in the last five seasons, whether it's running or catching the ball.
The Bills may be heavily interested in adding a running back, if these reports are any indication. Perhaps the Bills are trying to pair someone with Devin Singletary, as the Zack Moss ship has seemingly sailed and James Cook hasn't been much of factor in his rookie campaign either.
The Bills have until 4 pm Tuesday to make a trade, if they so choose to.
