The NFL Draft has been the pain focus of the Buffalo Bills the last two or three weeks, but that does not mean that general manager Brando Beane has been neglecting the free agent market during that timeframe.

The Bills are likely looking to add depth to cornerback, wide receiver and offensive line (linebacker might be another need too), but the Bills addressed depth at offensive line on Thursday.

The Bills announced that they have signed offensive lineman, David Quessenberry.

Quessenberry was drafted by the Houston Texans in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft out of San Jose State.

Quessenberry is a cancer survivor (2014) and has spent the past four seasons with the Tennessee Titans. He started every game at right tackle for the Titans in 2021 and had a very high run block grade from Pro Football Focus.

Quessenberry is 31 years old but this is a great signing by Beane. It defines Beane in Buffalo -- getting a value piece to help the team at a bargain and after the first and second wave of free agency.

Quessenberry is a great run blocker and a swing tackle who can move inside for depth. He might start games for the Bills in 2022, so don't be surprised.

He was valued for Derrick Henry in Tennessee and reunites with new Bills guard, Rodger Saffold.

This is a great move by the Bills and adds less of a need for offensive line early in the draft next weekend.
