Buffalo Bills Players to Watch in 2024

With the NFL season underway, sports season in the US has officially begun. The Buffalo Bills are hopefully set for another epic season of victories. While last year started slow, the team got things together mid-season and ended up winning all five of their final regular season games. From a sports fan's point of view, this turnaround made the Bills all the more entertaining to watch.
It also made it equally fun to bet on. The best offshore sportsbooks, like the ones identified by Chirag Dubey, allow you to make in-play betting. This means you can place bets while watching the game live, which is perfect for the unpredictability of the Buffalo Bills! The Bills currently have relatively favorable odds for the Super Bowl next year, +1200, but fans will no doubt have more success looking at individual game markets, where the Bills are only slightly less favored (+110) than their opponents the Dolphins (-118) in their next game on Thursday, Sept. 12.
One thing that you can predict is that this season will give new players a chance to come into their own. Several key players were recently released from the team, including Mitch Morse, Stefon Diggs, and Jordan Poyer. This gives recently drafted players a chance to prove what they’re worth. But which players are most likely to excel in 2024?
One player that we think will make an impact this season is Greg Rousseau who has been gradually earning his stripes with the team since 2021. He was a first-round draft pick back then and even four years ago displayed a lot of promise. He achieved a lot of career highs during the 2023 season, which included 18 quarterback hits, 25 pressures, and five sacks.
While his efforts may not be noticeable to the untrained eye, his big frame and defensive tactics should definitely make him one to watch this season. He puts pressure on other quarterbacks and makes them rethink their strategies, which makes him undeniably a key asset to the Bulls. This ability was most recently displayed in his play against the Steelers’ quarterback Russell Wilson during the preseason.
Another player that will likely make a statement this season is TE Dalton Kincaid. This 24-year-old tight end has also proved himself in the time since his 2022 draft, displaying versatility and quick-thinking when on the field. He’s gifted when it comes to reading zone defenses and winning both intermediate and short routes. He can also perform well under pressure, even when the 71,608-capacity Highmark Stadium is full. Like Rousseau, Kincaid has only gotten better season-to-season and we’re certain that the best is yet to come.
In terms of linebackers, Dorian Williams definitely proved himself as a worthy player last season. He was given the chance to do so when Matt Milano’s injury forced him off the field. As a replacement, Williams and Terrel Bernard took turns playing as the team’s inside linebacker. Milano’s recent two-year contract extension was worth $28.33 million, so Williams and Bernard both had their work cut out for them.
While Bernard was praised for his efforts, Williams was lauded for his ability to replicate Williams’ moves fairly accurately. He displayed speed, agility, and an ability to cover the full range of the field. Generally, he was exactly what the Bills needed in Williams’ absence.
