At least we know who they'll play in the preseason.  The Buffalo Bills late Monday revealed their preseason lineup of games with new coach Sean McDermott making his debut against the Minnesota Vikings at New Era Field in Week 1.  It's the third consecutive year that the Bills have opened the preseason schedule at home.  Last time the Bills and Vikings played a preseason game was 2013 and the Bills won 20-16.

Then after the Vikings the Bills play two games on the road at Philadelphia in Week 2 and at Baltimore in Week 3.  The Bills beat the Eagles in their last preseason meeting in 2013 6-3.  They beat the Ravens 20-19 when they last met in 2003.

And for the 16th consecutive year the Bills meet the Detroit Lions in the preseason finale at New Era Field.  The Lions won last year's game 31-0.

All dates at times will be announced later.

Here's the tentative Buffalo Bills preseason schedule:

  • Week 1 (August 10-14)      MINNESOTA
  • Week 2 (August 17-21)      at PHILADELPHIA
  • Week 3 (August 24-27)      at BALTIMORE
  • Week 4 (August 31-September 1)    DETROIT

The NFL regular season schedule is usually released the third week in April, so likely sometime next week.
