Buffalo Bills Set To Make Final Cuts This Week
This Thursday will be the Buffalo Bills 4th and final pre-season game of the year and the team will have to pair down the roster to a final 53 man roster.
This year is a little different in the NFL. In the past, the league had two cut down days for the team to get down to a final 53. This year, teams are allowed to carry 90 players on their roster until after the final pre-season game of the year. (All NFL teams will play on Thursday night). Then the team will have until Saturday afternoon to finalize their final roster.
Here are some key position battles the Bills are looking at:
1. How many QBS..most teams have only 2 on their roster, but will the Bills keep former UB Buffalo Tyree Jackson on the active roster?
2. Will RB TJ Yeldon make the team? The Bills are flush with running backs and does Yeldon make the roster over 3rd round pick Devin Singletary?
3. What Tightends will be in Buffalo? The Bills drafted two TEs and signed a couple more this off-season...so who makes the final roster?
