The Buffalo Bills Will Get Four Players Back This Sunday
The Buffalo Bills are currently fourth in the AFC playoff standings, but first in the AFC East, after their impressive 33-21 win over the New England Patriots this past Sunday.
Quarterback Josh Allen impressed with over 300 yards passing and a game-clinching drive that saw the Bills convert a 4th and 1 with Allen running it for a first down.
The Bills had to play that game against New England without some key players, but they will get those players back into the lineup against the Atlanta Falcons this upcoming Sunday.
The Bills have activated wide receivers Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis, along with guard Jon Feliciano and edge rusher A.J. Epenesa from the Reserve/COVIE-19 list.
Beasley and Davis were placed on the COVID list just before the Christmas holiday, with Davis going on the list on Christmas Eve.
However, on Tuesday the NFL and NFLPA worked out a revision of the COVID protocols, that will now allow an asymptomatic player to come out of quarantine after five days, instead of 10 days, even for unvaccinated players. They then need to test negative in order to be activated.
This explains why Beasley and Davis were both activated today.
The Bills will be playing a Falcons team who is 7-8 but has not played well at all against teams with winning records, as all of their wins have come against non-over .500 teams in 2021.
Getting Feliciano back is huge and helps solidify the Bills' offensive line, which should have all their starters returning against Atlanta.
