A Buffalo man reportedly sold heroin to an undercover police officer on three separate occasions.

Joshua Negron, 22, of Buffalo has been sentenced by State Supreme Court Justice Christopher J. Burns to three years in prison plus two years post-release supervision for selling heroin, according to a press release from the office of Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Flaherty, Jr..

On June 30, 2016, the defendant pleaded guilty to three counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree.

The sales occurred in July, August and September of 2015 in the vicinity of Niagara and Hudson in the City of Buffalo, according to the press release.

“One way to help curb the opiate crisis in our community is to lock up those people who are peddling this poison,” says acting DA Flaherty. “Our office is committed to taking a tough stance on these cases.”
