Buffalo Waterfront Needs To Add This Activity Immediately

There are a ton of things to do at Canalside at the Buffalo Waterfront.  Surprisingly, this isn't one of them, but it should be soon!

While scrolling through Facebook the other day, I stumbled on a video of people playing "Ice Hockey Mini Golf" and it looks incredible.

Now, this could go multiple ways.  Is it a game where you get to cross check someone as they're getting ready to putt?  Or is it mini golf played on ice with hockey sticks?  Luckily, it's the latter.

It appears to be on a German TikTok page and I've never seen anything like it here in the United States.

This could be a million-dollar idea

When thinking about where someone might play this, immediately I thought about Canalside.  They've already got tons of outdoor winter activities that people like to play, plus, being so close to the arena, it would seem to make sense.  But this could be a great idea for anyone who might have a mini-golf business that is looking to get some traffic over the winter too.

It looks like all you'd need to invest in are some mini hockey sticks, some mini pucks, and lots of ice.  You could build the ice into any hazard or distraction that you'd like.  Then all you need is to drill out some holes where the pucks need to end like you have in golf.

This game would be huge in Buffalo!  Then you'd just need to hope that the weather would stay like it has so far this winter.
