It is the Mr. Brightside Year. Here is where it started and why the Buffalo Bills Mafia LOVES the song.

Josh Allen mentioned during the press conference after practice earlier this week that the goal of the team is to be winning enough that Mr. Brightside plays.

If you don't know, the Buffalo Bills fans (and the team) have adopted Mr. Brightside as their song this year. Of course, the SHOUT song will always stay, but after Dawson Knox' wedding, the tradition really seemed to stick.

There was a video from the wedding and all the Bills players were jumping up and down screaming the words.

During the season when the song plays, you could specifically see Knox and Dalton Kincaid really rocking out. From there, it has become a staple. Highmark Stadium goes NUTS when the song comes on. But, it is a celebration song of sorts. The song does not play when the Buffalo Bills are losing so when Josh Allen says that they want to be in a spot that Mr. Brightside plays, that is what he means.

The Buffalo Bills should open up the checkbook and get The Killers to play Mr. Brightside at the AFC Championship at Highmark Stadium if it came down to that. I know a lot has to happen in order to get to this point: the Bills have to win and the Kansas City Chiefs have to loose, but we already checked and one thing that is not in the way--is The Killers schedule. They don't look like they are playing a concert that week at all. How incredible would that be.

The year of Mr. Brightside. 2025.
