Are the Goo Goo Dolls Are Playing at Buffalo Bills Game?

On social media, there is a rumor that is going around that the Goo Goo Dolls will be playing at the home opener of the Buffalo Bills stadium in September.

The Buffalo Bills have the newest stadium in the world right now. The bills just received their temporary certificate of occupancy and now fans are able to walk right up to the stadium and go take pictures in front of it as most of the cones and fences are down.

The Buffalo Bills will open up this season on the road this year but then be coming home for a week to for the home opener in the brand new stadium against the Detroit Lions. There's a rumor that is going around right now on social media that says that the Buffalo band, the Goo Goo Dolls will be back home performing at the stadium before or at halftime of the game.

As of right now that does not appear to be confirmed or true. Although, if you want to look at the tour website for The Goo Goo Dolls it looks like they have an opening around that time as well so you never know but, it is certainly not been confirmed by the Buffalo Bills or more.

How cool would that be though?

You have to be careful on social media with all these fake posts that go around because they look so real and people especially the older generation will share things as if they are true when it is a fake post. Last year something went viral that was not even close to true and it said that owner Kim Pegula was mad and called the National Football League over the refereeing of a game. It was another example of a fake post but it got so many people that was share thousands of times.
