Buffalo, New York Gets ‘Shout Out’ From Matt Damon + David Beckham

Buffalo, New York, was noted during the Super Bowl on Sunday night.

Even though the Buffalo Bills did not get to the Super Bowl, Buffalo, New York, was at least featured (I guess?) for a quick second. There was a Stella Artois commercial where Matt Damon is trying to explain to David Beckham why the chicken wing is called a 'Buffalo Wing'. Matt Damon goes on to explain that it is not because of the animal, a Buffalo, but rather because the chicken wing was invented in Buffalo, New York.

They obviously didn't run this by anyone in Buffalo because we don't call them 'Buffalo Wings', just 'wings'.

Stella actually posted the commercial the week before the Super Bowl so fans could get a sneak peek of what they would see at the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl 59 is now in the books. The Kansas City Chiefs had an absolute meltdown during the game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Kansas City Chiefs could not score in the first half of the Super Bowl in one of quarterback Patrick Mahomes' worst games of all time. The Philadelphia Eagles' Jalen Hurts won the MVP after the game.

The odds for the Super Bowl 2026 are out. ESPN released the early odds, and the Buffalo Bills are not too far down on the leaderboard. The Kansas City Chiefs are tied with the Baltimore Ravens for the best odds, but then here are the other top contenders to win the Super Bowl in 2026. The 2026 Super Bowl will head back to California.
