It's no secret that the number one food in Western New York are wings. It's not only the most popular dish in Buffalo, but it's become part of the city's identity.

However, over the last three years, the price of chicken wings has skyrocketed. It's not at all uncommon to visit a place and pay $16-17-18 dollars for 10 wings. If you find a good place that is selling less than $14, then that's a huge win.

For some people, 10 wings simply are not enough. I have a few friends who will insist on 20 wings, which can obviously get a bit pricey. We love wings so much and they're such a part of our community, that we just pay the increased prices. It's not the restaurants' fault, it's just market inflation of getting the chicken.

Wingnutz in Buffalo posted a reel today on Facebook that says if someone buys 10 wings on Uber Eats, that they will get 10 wings for free.

As someone who frequently uses places like DoorDash and Uber Eats, this is really cool.

Bar-Bill Tavern, Elmos, Nine-Eleven Tavern, Duff's, Mammoser's, Gabriel's Gate, and Wingnutz are among the places who serve up amazing wings in Western New York.

There are other underrated places too, such as Amherst Pizza & Ale House, Adolf's Old First Ward, Kelly's Korner, JP Fitzgerald's and Audubon North. So many others as well.
