Buffalo Restaurant Makes Hilarious Tweet About Mac Jones
The Bills and Patriots square off for the rubber match this season, and this time, it's playoff football.
Buffalo hosts New England tonight at Highmark Stadium for their Wild Card Round matchup in the NFL postseason. The game marks the first-ever game between the two franchises in the playoffs since the merger.
It's also very evident neither fanbase likes one another very much. In fact, the bantering back and forth between Buffalo and Boston is quite common during a Bills-Patriots game week; it's all part of the experience.
While some fans in New England were making fun of ticket prices for this playoff game, and Buffalo fans' dedication in the cold weather (0-6 degrees during the game), one popular Buffalo restaurant decided to have some fun with New England quarterback, Mac Jones.
Jones had a good rookie campaign, helping lead the Patriots to the playoffs with a 10-7 record, but it's obvious to most NFL fans that Jones isn't leaned on within the Patriots offense.
Mister Sizzle's in Buffalo, who make incredible burgers by the way, decided to do a QB comparison between Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Patriots quarterback, Mac Jones.
The thing about sports rivalries, is that it's fun when fanbases go back and forth in mocking one another. There's something about sports that makes people throw caution to the wind and support their team in any way possible.
The Bills and Patriots fanbases are two classic examples of that, and we all love it.
Kickoff is at 8:15 pm.
